With a few exceptions, these papers were written during my Fellowship at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where I earned an LLM in Government & Public Policy. Please do not view these as current law, as I have not updated them. I hope to soon load JD/Master of Education Law papers.

Overdue Change for Family Law

I wrote this newspaper editorial to address the emergence of collaborative family law in northwest Florida.

Joshua Aaron Jones, Overdue Change for Family Law Has Arrived,  Pensacola News Journal (July 26, 2017).

Florida Family Law Bounds of Advocacy

I recently completed and submitted this journal article.

This discussion covers the development of the Family Law Bounds of Advocacy, as well as the collaborative family law process. I argue that the Florida Bar should consider the BoA as mandatory for family lawyers and that given the parallels between the philosophies of the BoA and collaborative practice, all Florida family management attorneys should offer collaborative process as the first resolution method for marital and family legal issues.
